GISEDERLAN: FOCUSED ON QUALITY
GISEderlan, a joint venture between Fagor Ederlan and GIS (Grupo Industrial Saltillo), takes a step forward in its commitment to quality through its event "Focused on quality".
After 5 years of experience and leadership in the machining of automotive components, on 11 November GISEderlan brought together customers, employees and partners around a single theme: quality.
A legacy of excellence
Specialised in the machining of Chassis and Powertrain components for automobiles and commercial vehicles, GISEderlan is aware of the demands and quality standards of the automotive sector and therefore makes quality the main value of its market proposition.
Promoting a corporate culture focused on values such as excellence and commitment is one of Fagor Ederlan’s foundations. This is what has turned it into the market leader in safety components for the automotive sector. Our branch benefits from this legacy and from the values that, as a global organisation specialising in the automotive sector, we embody in all our plants.
Our customers’ voice
The slogan "Know the voice of our customers" reflected the purpose of the event. With a view to raising awareness throughout the organisation on the voice of our customers and the importance of quality and excellence throughout the value chain, this day was attended by quality managers from leading customers who shared the Quality Mindset of the day.
Sergio Israel Rodríguez López, GISEderlan's Quality Manager, said: "The voice of our customers is the best testimony of our quality. Meeting the highest quality standards in our machined components is a fundamental value at GISEderlan. Our iron components are manufactured in an environment where processes always strive for excellence and continuous improvement.”

The event was backed by GISEderlan's two partner companies: Fagor Ederlan and GIS. The Fagor Ederlan stand was attended by our colleagues Juan Ricardo Granillo, Quality Director of Fagor Ederlan Mexico, and Kepa Barbarias, Quality Manager of Fagor Ederlan Mexico. As representatives of our main value, which is excellence, they decided to be with the GISEderlan team on such an important day.
Other major players on this day were suppliers, local agents and educational centres including Mitutoyo, CIMCO, Renishaw, Mess and Draxton, among others. The day was a great success and objectives were met thanks to the contribution of customers, partners and employees alike.
