Cummins Meritor commends Fagor Ederlan Brasileira's work
Fagor Ederlan Brasileira was awarded in the Purchasing category, in a gesture that recognises the exceptional relationship between the two companies.
Last 23rd November Cummins Meritor presented its Supplier Day 2022 award to its best suppliers in the categories of Logistics, Quality, Purchasing and Best Supplier.
Our subsidiary Fagor Ederlan Brasileira, specialised in casting and machining of safety components for car chassis and cast components for the powertrain of commercial vehicles, was awarded in the Purchasing category (which includes development capacity, presentation of technical solutions and commercial management).
Fagor Ederlan Brasileira was the only foundry supplier to receive an award, which represents an honour as it is recognition of its development capacity, commercial management and capacity to respond to the demand for new projects.
A long-standing relationship
The relationship between FEB and Meritor is a long-standing one, with two different stages: the first began in the late 1980s and ended in 2003, while the second began in 2014 and continues to this day.
The parts manufactured by Fagor Ederlan Braisleira for Cummins Meritor are extremely technical and meet high quality standards. Agility, development capacity and know-how are the three key assets that Fagor Ederlan Brasileira brings to this relationship, in addition to simultaneous engineering in development, processes and improvements.
Cummins Meritor Quality Week
Under the slogan Cummins Meritor Quality Week, which focuses on quality, the awards ceremony was held at Espaço Mariah de Eventos (Osasco, São Paulo).
The awards, held every year, recognise the suppliers that stand out for their excellence and high technical value, in addition to assessing their ability to align themselves with suppliers' needs and maintain a sustained business relationship over time.
This recognition is very important for Fagor Ederlan Brasileira because it proves that we are constantly working to understand our customer's needs, as well as recognising the good work of both partners in the automotive market.
There is no two without three
After having been awarded in 2021, this is the second year in a row that Fagor Ederlan Brasileira has received this award. With this recognition we expect to continue to grow as partners and keep promoting the growth of both companies for many years to come.
Fagor Ederlan Brasileira will continue to focus on high quality, innovation and development capacity in casting and machining of safety components for automotive chassis and in casting components for commercial vehicle powertrain.
