CDP Report recognizes Fagor Ederlans sustainable management

2021 ended with good news for Fagor Ederlan in the area of sustainability

The actions we have been continuously implementing in environmental management with the aim of helping fight against climate change have resulted in a substantial improvement in our annual score from the international organisation CDP (CDP Score Report).

The internationally renowned CDP is one of the most comprehensive sustainability reporting platforms, helping companies and organisations to disseminate how their strategy and practices deal with sustainability.

This report covers three different measures: Climate Change, Water Security and Forests. All these have 5 score levels:

  • A and A-: Leadership level
  • B and B-: Management level
  • C and C-: Awareness level
  • D and D-: Disclosure level
  • F: Failure to provide sufficient information to be evaluated.

In the Climate Change and Water Security sections, Fagor Ederlan has scored B- within the Metal Product Manufacturing activity, signifying recognition of implementing coordinated actions to address issues in both areas.

As for the Climate Change score, Fagor Ederlan has scored B- Management level, above the average score for metal product manufacturing companies. In Water Management, the score was also B- Management Level, in line with the average for metal product manufacturing companies.

These results represent improved progress compared to previous years and reinforce our strategy and commitment towards developing an industrial activity that guarantees maximum environmental protection.

This assessment is recognition of the unwavering work that the Fagor Ederlan team and plants do to achieve the neutrality goals for our industrial activity in the shortest possible time, and encouraging us to continue working in a responsible, safe and sustainable manner, in accordance with our cooperative values, as well as minimising the #environmentalimpact of our activity.
